A Collaborative Approach
There is a beautiful opening prayer of the Yoga Tradition that is often recited by the teacher before working with a student. Within the 6-line affirmation, two lines always move my heart the most: “May we create strength in one another. May our study be enlightening and fruitful.” As your Coach, I promise to be a living embodiment of this prayer because I know that the student alone holds the power to heal, that I can help facilitate the awakening of that power, and that our collaboration will bring us both home to peace and ease of well-being. My students enrich my life as much as I help them enrich their own.
